Diwali gift boxes for the US: what's inside and when to order
If you want a Diwali gift box to arrive by Sunday 8 November 2026, the deciding factor is lead time, not price. Four of the five boxes below are made to order in India and take 10 to 14 days before they ship. The fifth ships from US stock in 1–2 days. Here is what is inside each, who it suits, and when to order.

Which box for whom
For a colleague or client. The Festival of Lights Gift Box is built for corporate Diwali and year-end gifting and can carry an optional logo sleeve. It is the only box with a lamp in it, so the recipient can light it on the night. The 12 × 9 × 4 in box holds a solid brass diya pair from Moradabad and two Kalamkari napkins.
For family who cook. The Khari Baoli box is packed in Delhi's wholesale dry-fruit and spice market, where families stock up for weddings and festivals. The nuts and dried fruit are best eaten within 6 months, and the carved mango-wood box stays useful afterwards.
For tea drinkers. The Masala Chai Kit has everything for street-stall chai at home, including the clay kulhad cups chai is traditionally served in. Clay is fragile, which is why we rate it high fragility.

Order-by dates for 8 November
Count back from Diwali. A 14-day box ordered on 25 October finishes production on 8 November, so it will be late. For the Festival of Lights box or the Welcome Home Hamper, order by mid-October to leave time for delivery. The 10-day boxes give you four more days. After that, build your own box from in-stock pieces: a brass diya pair, a Soan Papdi festive box and a 2 g vial of Kashmiri saffron all ship from US stock.
