Diwali gifts from India, shipped from US stock

Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November 2026. This page gathers everything in the Taj Bazaar catalog that people buy for it: lamps and puja pieces, door decor, Old Delhi sweets, festive pantry staples and ready-made gift boxes. Most items below ship from US stock in 1–2 days. The gift boxes are made to order, so they need ordering first.

Order early: the made-to-order boxes

Our gift boxes are packed in Jaipur after you order. The Festival of Lights Gift Box and the Welcome Home Hamper take 14 days to make; the Masala Chai Kit and the Khari Baoli Dry Fruit & Spice Box take 10. Counting back from 8 November, a 14-day box ordered after 25 October will not leave our hands before Diwali. Light the house

• Brass Diya, Pair ($42): solid brass, sand-cast and hand-polished in Moradabad, a GI-registered craft. Each is 4.5 in across and doubles as a tealight holder after the festival.
• Paper Kandeel Lantern ($19): the star lantern hung outside homes at Diwali, sold by the thousand in Delhi's Sadar Bazaar every October. It is 14 in, ships flat and comes with an LED string; use LED only.
• Beaded Door Toran ($29): a 36 in door hanging of cotton, glass beads, mirrors and gota trim from Kinari Bazaar, hung to welcome Lakshmi.
• Rangoli Stencil & Colour Kit ($22): reusable stencils and 8 lead-tested colour powders for a doorstep rangoli. The powders are for floor use only.

For the puja

The Brass Puja Thali Set ($49) puts a diya, bell, kumkum bowls and incense stand on one 10 in brass plate, made in Moradabad. Add Mysore Sandal Agarbatti ($16, 120 sticks, GI-registered, hand-rolled by women's groups around Mysuru) or Natural Dhoop Cones, Rose & Guggul ($12, 40 cones from Kannauj). Sweets and festive pantry

• Soan Papdi Festive Box, 500 g ($12): flaky, hand-pulled layers from Chandni Chowk; the Diwali sweet that survives shipping.
• Old Delhi Sohan Halwa, 400 g ($16): a dense ghee sweet with almonds, pistachio and saffron.
• Kashmiri Saffron, Mongra Grade, 2 g ($24): GI-registered, from Pampore. Saffron demand peaks before Diwali and holiday baking.
• Bikaneri Bhujia, 400 g ($9): the GI-protected tea-time snack from Bikaner, for the guests who come by.
